The Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) is a federal law enforcement agency and counterintelligence agency for the Air Force comprised of approximately 3,400 people. We investigate a wide variety of serious felony –level offenses for the Air Force- from espionage and terrorism, to homicide and drug trafficking, computer intrusions and large scale acquisition fraud. As a part of our counterintelligence mission, we collect threat information related to the US Air Force, our aircraft, Airmen and facilities and provide it to decisions makes who can then act in the best interest of the Air Force. AFOSI investigate anything the that may undermines the mission of the Department of the Air Force or the Department of Defense.
